2010 Select World Congrats!

Way to go Anne Wilson & Visible Investment on their GOLD trophy in the Showmanship. Anne and ten other finalists have shown with us this year including the top three trophy winners - Reserve - Knowtorious & Susan Wilson & Third - Maggie Bellville & GPF Legal Version.

Congrats to Mark Lakenburger & Very Cool on their win in the 2-year-old Stallions. Mark has shown with us for several years.

Congrats to Karen Johnson & Ima Exception on their win in the 2-year-old Geldings and Steve Headley on his third with GQ Image. Way to go!

Congrats in the three-year-old Geldings to Lotsa Razmatax and Dan Northcutt for the Gold Winning Run. Six of the finalists have shown with us this year.

Reserve & Bronze congrats in the Yearling Stallions to A Cool Troubador & Steve Headley & The Elusive Touch & Vicky Clites.

NINE of the Western Pleasure Finalists have shown with us in 2010. Including the champion Gloin From Chocolate & Bill Cosentino.

TEN of the Western Riding Finalists have shown with us in 2010 including all of the top five including the champion Majestic Scotch and Susan Johns.

Back-to-back congrats to Vernon Habighorst & RPL My Te Cheerful on their repeat win in the Aged Geldings. Reserve congrats to Sarah Smith & Heza Silent Clu. Six of the top ten have shown with us in 2010 including a 'shout out' to Maureen Crooks & Telusive Tide on their 9th place finish.

Impressive finish in the Performance Geldings. The trophy winners have shown with us this year and ten of the top 16 as well. Trophy winners - Only Pretentious & Debby Brehm, Remarkable Can & Warren Norgrant & Prestigious Loper & Ka Ann Lord.

Standing Ovation for Susan Bastian & Sure Cool Te on their unanimous win in the Performance Mares. (Enjoyed your heel-kicking demo!) Three of the top five have shown at one of our 2010 shows.

2010 Youth World Congrats!

100 of the 154 entered trail exhibitors have shown at a 2010 Mark Harrell Horse Show including ELEVEN of the finalists. AND the top three trophy winners - Alyssa Neiberger, Katie Jo Jones & Darcy Reeve.

93 of the 161 entered Horsemanship exhibitors have shown at a 2010 Mark Harrell Horse Show - including 13 of the 15 finalists! And congrats to the Champion Carey Nowacek.

Six of the top 15 in the Aged Geldings have shown at a 2010 MHHS including all three trophy winners - Kaylee Hamm & RPL My Te Cheerful, Monica Hamm & A Kid By Design & Sydney Rivers & Ima Handsome Clu.

Congrats to Morgan Brehm & Shez One Classy Kid on their win in the Aged Mares. SEVEN of the top ten have shown with us this year.

We congratulate Travis Sancken & How Do Ya Like Menow on their win in the 3 year old Geldings. Six of the top ten including the Bronze winner, Aint Te Cool & Taylor Licavoli have shown with us in 2010.

Congrats to RJ Jacobs & Happy Hour for their first win at the Youth World in the 2 year old Geldings.

Count McChick - The Outstanding Gelding

It is with great sadness that we report that 'Mickey' to his friends, has been put down.  He was 31 years old & even earned points at an AQHA show at the age of 27.  He was owned & shown by exhibitors from east to west & earned multiple superiors, several AQHA championships, countless ROMs & was in the year-end & world show placings more times than can be counted.  He earned more than 50 halter points (long before performance halter) and 1520 AQHA performance points. He taught numerous novice exhibitors how to ‘let him do his job’ and was still swapping leads in the pasture last year. He had the first stall in the barn & was the watch-dog for all coming & going.  He was buried at the farm & he joins so many others in the skies above. He loved Krispy Kreme donuts & here is hoping he gets to eat all he wants.

2008 World Show Congrats
We congratulate all the finalists in the trail as more than 50% of the finalists in both the Jr & Sr trail have shown with us in 2008. Brad & Harley are long time exhibitors with us.

We are proud to have had the top four all-around amateurs at the World Show show with MHHS in 2008. Champion - Nicole Barnes, Reserve - Jessica Johnson, Third - Karen Evans Mundy & 4th - Meghan O'Malley.

Congrats to Samantha Roper & High Flying Assets on their wins in the Amateur Hunter Hack & Working Hunter.  Half of all fence finalists have shown at a 2008 MHHS.  And making a sweep of the fence classes was Jessica Johnson & Royality In Blue in the Equitation Over Fences. Way to go to both ladies.

An amazing World Chow congrats to long-time exhibitor Rita Crundwell. She won the Yearling, 3-year-old & Performance Stallions, the 2-year-old & Aged Mares, and the Weanling & Yearling Geldings. Way to go Rita.  Congrats to Josh Weakly for his reserve in the 2-year-old Mares with Thatsmisspizazztou.

Congrats to Joy Stehney & Cabernet Kid on their win in the 2-year-old Geldings. Also to Josh Weakley & One Silent Kopy on their reserve.

Wahooo to the King Family of Oblong, IL. Penny King & Lovin My Career Change on their win in the Amateur 2-year-old Mares.  The entire King family have shown with us for years & we could not be happier for them.

Congratulations to long-time exhibitors Rick Adams showing Say CK & Darlene Turner & Self Discipline on their top two finishes in the Weanling Stallions. Congrats to Darlene on her championship with Emagined in the 2-year-old Stallions.

Congrats to Vernon Habighorst on his two wins in the 3-year-old Geldings with A Kid By Design & in the aged geldings in Telusive Tide. Vernon has shown with us for several years.

Making a sweep of the Amateur Performance Mares! Fancy Diamond Kid & Greg Demint have won the Select World, the Congress & are leading the nation, but now the accolades go to Nicci Demint on their win in OKC!

Way to go to Nicole Barnes & Zippos Ace Of Spades on their win in the Amateur Trail. Eight of the finalists have shown at a 2008 MHHS.  Nicole & Ace added another trophy to their haul in the Showmanship where ELEVEN of the finalists have shown with us this year, inlcuding the reserve champion as well - RL Suddenly Famous & Caitlin McGinty.

Applause, Applause to Rodger Call & Luke Here Honey on their win in the amateur Driving. The top four have driven with us this year - Royality In Blue & Jessica Johnson, Larks Hpayy Days & Lori Bucholz & A Certified Edition & Kristin Martin.

Congrats to Michelle McLean & I Wish I Were Blue on their win in the Amateur Equitation. NINE of the finalists have show with us this year. Including ALL of the top FIVE.

Mark Harrell & David Pardue have adopted a baby boy. The baby is named Michael David...he is named after Mark's brother who passed away 3 years ago, David & David's dad who is named Michael. At birth he weighed 9 pounds & 3 ounces & is 21"...he currently has blue eyes & medium brown hair.
